I'm searching for a John TURNER, born about 1805 in TN. Married Nancy Campbell in Cooper Co., MO in 1819. They had a daughter called Sophia, b 1824 MO, d 1869 MO, who married Moses DRISKILL in 1848, Cooper Co., MO. Other children may be: George W., b 1831 Joseph, b 1833 John, b 1835 James, b1837 David b 1843 Does any of this ring any TURNER bells? I haven't a clue as to where in TN either John TURNER or his wife, Nancy CAMPBELL came from. Nor have I found any cemetery information on them. I have found their marriage record in Cooper Co., MO, theirs is the 1st recorded marriage for that county. Sophia TURNER DRISKILL, is my 4th generation grandmother, making her parents my 5th generation. Sophia's husband, Moses DRISKILL was also born in TN. I believe he may have came from Cocke Co., TN.
