Hi everyone... I have a reference to the parents of Jasper Melchor (var. spellings) TURNER (b. 1760 Onslow County NC) as William TURNER and wife Catherine who came to the Carolinas from Scotland and are resting at Beaufort North Carolina. I don't know what source that author used. Jasper married Lucy Seagraves. According to his will, children were Austin, Delilah, Elizabeth, Polly, Greene, and Martin. Other sources name George as an elder son. I have sources that show Jasper in Onslow, Wake, and Anson Counties North Carolina.
