Searching for a Col.TURNER, killed in the Civil War - unknown which side he was on but suspect Confederate. His first name may have been THOMAS. He was married to a MARTHA (FLORENCE?) and had five children with her: ELLEN, NAN, IDA, TOM(?) AND FIRMAN H. who was born in 1858 in Richmond, VA. MARTHA remarried to a man named SHIRLEY, they apparently lived in Illinois because FIRMAN moved from there to Calif. in 1880. FIRMAN had a son VERN born 1880 through a marriage with an ABIAIL.
