Need help! I know my Turner line didn't just fall from the sky! Have you ever felt that way? I need information on the parents and family of WILLIAM T. TURNER born @1829 in NC married Syntha Haywood born @1822 in GA, thought to have married in Huntsville, AL. Both William and Syntha(or Cynthia) died and are buried in Pontotoc Co., MS. They came to Lafayette Co., MS in 1860"s. Their children are: William Thomas, born in AL, 1847, George William born in AL 1848, Elijah b.1859 AL, John L.. b. 1850, AL, Sara b. 1856, Elisha Thora b. 1863, MS. I believe Syntha to be Indian. Can anyone out there help me on this Turner line? William and Syntha had to come from somewhere.
