I am searching for more family connections for David H. Turner, b. 1820 in Lynchburg, Va., moved to Mo., where he married Ann Elizabeth Burks, also of Lynchburg, Va., in 1847. After going to Ca. for the 1849 Gold Rush, settled in Texas (Pilot Point, 1862; Gainesville, 1880) where he founded the Turner Hotel, a Gainesville, TX landmark to this day.
