    3. Vesta, Who was James Patton? Also, have you seen the following book? It tells about a family of Scottish Turners who settled in Snow Hill, MD. The author traces their descendants in Georgia and other southern states, but these could be our ancestors too. Traditional ancestors of James Turner / compiled by Pauline Turner Fake. -- San Antonio, Tex. : Fake, c1978. viii, 74 leaves : ill. ; 28 cm. Cover title: James Turner (1758-1826) and his many descendants through 1978. Includes index. Phil Turner >>> Doug Dorman <dddmusic@greenville.infi.net> 03/29 10:06 PM >>> Hello Phillip, Our dates and names don't match up directly, but they may connect prior to 1750. I will keep you and the list informed of any worthwhile info I find. I believe that James Patton's boat docked in Accomack County (correct me if I'm wrong). So many Ulster Irish came thru Accomack...maybe most of my family tree! I think the typical pattern of migration was that the 3rd and 4th generations went to Ky, Ohio, & Ind. Regards, Vesta
