Two things: when you place queries or information, please don't forget to tell what state and county or counties are involved, for instance there are many Thomas Turners and I am------ *still* looking for Thomas TURNER, b SC ca 1811, appeared in Fayette Co with "James as agent for Thomas and Silas" in the early tax digests; m Lucinda Wilkins, 1830 Fayette Co;there until ?, appears in Polk Co, GA, Van Wert Dist., 1860 census. Oldest son Kinyon moves back to Fayette co with his family, Thomas, Lucinda & other children (except George W and Andrew J, who are killed in the WONA) just dissapear. Where did these folks go, and where in SC did he come from? Is he related to the Thomas Turner, age 76 in 1850, next county over (Campbell), and is he related to the other TURNERs who appear in Fayette & Campbell County (some of whom married Wilkins women), all from SC? Thanks for any ideas...
