I am searching for any information on Turpin Turner born about 1856 in Jackson County Kentucky. This Turpin Turner is the son of (John?) William Turner and Rhoda Haley. Turpin married Mary Allen January 15, 1896, in Richmond County, Kentucky. Turpin and Mary Allen had the following children: Ballard, Millard, Robert, Margaret, Maude Betty, Rhoda Eller, Addie Helen and Turpin, Jr. Turpin and Mary Allen moved from Kentucky to Ohio, to Indiana then back to Ohio where Turpin died August 5, 1931. There is family rumor and suspicion that Turpin, Sr., may have had a family before Mary Allen as he was 20 years her senior. Any information or leads on Turpin or his parents (John?) William Turner and Rhoda Haley would be greatly appreciated.
