Hello, List - The following obituary appeared in the Observer [Moultrie, GA] on Tuesday, March 16, 1999: "AIKEN, S.C. - Ida Turner Ranew, 65, of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Albany, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at Palmyra Medical Center. "Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Kimbrell-Stern with the Rev. Ron Baxley officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. "A native of Moultrie, Mrs. Ranew was a member of the Baptist faith and had live [sic] in Aiken for the past eight years moving there from Albany. She had retired from the Aiken Regional Medical Center and had worked with the Sure Way Trucking Co., and Moore Business Forms while she lived in Albany. "Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Ranew Turner of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Shirley T. Hawk of Moultrie; four brothers, Quincy Turner of Moultrie, Albert Turner, Charlie Frank Turner and Dan Turner, all of Albany; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. "The family will be staying at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Frank Turner , 3609 Parr Road, Albany. "Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors, Albany, are in charge of arrangements."
