I am trying to find the parents and place of birth of my husbands gg grandfather Phillip Turner. Phillip was on the 1830, and 1840 Wayne County Penn. Census. His widow was on the 1850 Wayne Co. Pa. census. Her name was Nancy. I have not found her maiden name. They had a son born in New york, in 1829 His name was William. There was a Phillip Turner in Dutchess Co, N.Y. on the 1820 census./ I don't know if this is the same Turner. Phillip and Nancy had the following children William, John K. ( husband's great grandfather) George Benjamin , Amos, Carolyn, Lydia, Ira, and Elmira. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated. Wadene Bennett (wadeneben@aol.com)
