Bob, is it possible that your David had a brother, Larkin b.1805? He seems to have just "appeared". He m. Mary Ann "Polly" Edwards and they were in Winston/Choctaw Co. MS by 1840's and were very active in the settling of that area. Any help would be appreciated.
