Can you tell me where Jackson, MO is located? I am trying to find persons who may have been kin to my 4Ggrandfather, Francis M. TURNER (shown on 1850 Census in Chariton Co., MO, age 25, b. TN), residing in neighboring communities. I have no idea who the parents of Francis were. His wife is sometimes listed as Patsey A., Patricia, or Alice, b. 1827 IN. Their children were Alice, (b.1848 MO) Robert W.( b. 1853 MO), and Mary M.(b. 1862 MO) Robert W. married Matilda Jane WELCH (b. 1855 MO), dau. of Thomas and Martha WELCH. They were in BEE BRANCH TWP. on 1870 &1880 Census'. Robert and Matilda's children were William Francis (b. 1874 MO) who married Flora Laviena MOXLEY(b.1880 MO), dau of John Henry MOXLEY and Lucinda Jane McCOLLUM, at Salsbury, MO. Clarenda. (b. 1878 MO)- Wren (b. ? after 1880) who married a FLETCHER. Delia (Dealy) (b. ?) who married a ROOMSBURG. Dora (b.?) who married a KELLY. Would like to correspond with any one who may know of a connection to any of these persons.
