Marian, Is this the Turner family that moved into VA (Fauquier County) and married into the Adams family of Maryland and Fauquier? Turner Ashby of Civil War fame came from one of the Turner Adams marriages. My husband comes from a Turner/Adams marriage - maybe in Maryland then moved to Fauquier.
