I recieved from Schuyler Co Clerk this day the marriage record of Mr. James Abbott and Miss Alsey Turner, m: May 23, 1849. With this record is a affidavit from an Oscar Howell as follows: I, Oscar Howell, being first duly sworn, deposes and says that he is acquainted with Miss Alsey Turner and that she is my sister-in- law, and know her to be eighteen years of age. signed by Oscar Howell.
