Hello everyone, I have been on this list and have posted my Turner information, hoping that someone might recongnise these names, well here it goes again. My grandfather was born October 23rd 1883 in Georgia, which county I'm not sure of. His mothers name was either Ann or Nancy Turner(do not know of her surname) his fathers name Snidy Turner. This is the name that was in my baby book, so I'm not sure if Snidy is his real name or a nickname. I do know that they had 6 children in all and two died. My grandfather David LaFayette Turner married my grandmother Rosa America Sims in 1904 in Fulton Co. Georgia. She was full-blood Cherokee Indian. They had 8 children all born in Ga, except for one who was born in Arkansas. They are Harvey G. Turner b.11-11-1905 d.7-20-1976 Leonard Turner b.and d.dates unknown Elmer Vic Turner b.1-25-1913 d. 3-25-1953 Jack L. Turner b.4-2-1919 d.1-5-1970 Carrie Wilcher b.and d.dates unknown. Lillie Hicks b.and d.dates unknown Cora Hipp b.and d.dates unknown Dora Turner d.at 2yrs old, twin to Cora. All the boys were veterans in WWII. My father is Harvey and believe it or not I was b. in 1972 and at that time he was 67yrs. old. He died at age 71. So therefor I am the youngest cousin of the aboves offspring. Wild huh, but it is true. I have met all of my cousins that I know of except for two of whom I am desperatly trying to find. They are Jack's boys. There names are Richard and Raymond Turner. Both born in Portales or Clovis N.M. Raymond was b.1-19-40 he married Rosa Leta Grubbs 9-14-61 in Clovis N.M They had 3 girls Lorie b.1963, Lana b.1964 and Lanette, b. unknown. If this sounds familiar to anyone please contact me or if anyone knows how I can locate these 2 men please let me know. I have never met them before and they don't even know that I am looking for them, any information would be very much appreciated. Thanks to all who have read this.
