Hello all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have put my family history online at http://www.allthroughtheages.com/indexfamilytree.htm Please feel free to look around it and let me know of any errors, omissions, etc. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS so when looking through it understand that. I appreciate any and all comments on it. I am but human and there will probably be mistakes so just shoot me an email and I will get to it. I want to thank everyone that has helped me get this far in my research and I have further to go yet, but without help I would not have been able to get this far. I decided to go ahead and put online what I have so far as if I keep putting it off it will never be online and then someone may not be able to utilize it. I have many many surnames and many areas of the US that are on this. You will find some links that are not up yet as I am slowly getting them together. I will be placing photos online with these pages soon so keep checking back and if there is anything that you would like to add to it please feel free to email me. Linda-I'm curious about your Wehunt connection. We had one of our male Turner's do the DNA, we didn't have any Turner match, but came up with 4 West matches. But my grandfather's sister, Florence married a Wehunt-James F. Wehunt. My line is Esley Turner. They lived in and around Lumpkin County at one point. Esley Turner was murdered by William Turner in Pickens County, Ga 18 Jan 1870. Florence and James Wehunt are buried at Antioch cemetery, DeKalb Cty, Alabama. Judy Harper, Alabama/Georgia Turner's.

Don Turner I don't know if I answered you or not. The older I get the more I forget and at 77 I have forgotten a lot.I found that I had moved your mail into a folder that meant save. These Turner names do not show up in my list of Turners but that could be that I just have not found the link.My first known Turner in my line to come to Texas was Levi Turner. He was born in KY. and came to Texas to be a part of the Peters Colony. He was in Texas before July 1848. He took his 640 acres in what is now Dallas Co. but up till a few days ago I thought he settled in Collin Co.That is where I find his son Robert B. Turner( my great grandfather)Robert had several wives in his life. Three I have found and I may not have a complete list. Robert died in Waco Texas. Here is a list of his children-- G.Fred(my grandfather)-Clara( died in less than a year)Abbie ( my Grandfathers only full sibling) Opal-May-Grace- Ben -Bryan-Florence-Maude I have a brother of Levi moving to Collin Co. He as Junius Turner b abt 1845 in Adair Co.KY.Married N.J.Taylor and the only child I have found was a Levi Turner b abt 1875 in Collin Co. TX. I can only guess that his son was named after Junius's brother Levi. Have you checked the probates and the land records? Many times you will find relationships listed there in early deeds. Jeanette
Nancy and Wm. were my gr (3x) grandparents. I believe that my Nancy B. is the sibling of John Mastin Turner. Nancy was born abt. 1786 and census indicate she was born in Virginia. On the 1820 census, Lincoln Co., TN., Wm. Wainwright is enum., next door to Woodson Turner. Nancy and Wm. were married abt. 1825 in Lincoln Co., TN. 1830 census, Woodson is still in Lincoln Co., and Nancy and Wm. have gone to Ala. John Mastin is enum. on the 1840 census, Lincoln Co., TN., as Mastin. I found 6 Turner males that were born in Lincoln Co., TN., between 1810 and 1836. Also on that 1840 census in Lincoln Co., is a W.H. Turner, which I believe to be Woodson Turner. At Ancestry.com OneWorldTree's I found a John Mastin Turner, born Apr 1800. John Mastin had a son, William M. Turner that was born in Lincoln Co., TN., in 1826. John Mastin named one of his sons Mastin G. and Nancy & Wm. named one of their sons Mastin G. Given the facts above I am lead to believe that John Mastin Turner and Woodson Turner are the siblings of my Nancy B. Turner, who married Wm. Wainwright. Are you a Turner desc. or a Wainwright desc (or, like myself, both)? I sure would like to hear back from you so we can discuss the evidence that I mention above. I haven't done a whole lot of digging, but the digging that I have done, I'm wondering if Pleasant Turner and Agnes Woodson are the parents of Nancy, John M., and Woodson. given the fact that Agnes Woodson Turner's maiden name was Woodson and there is a male Woodson Turner. I do have a really nice desc. report on William and Nancy Turner Wainwright, should the occasion call for it I would be willing to share that with you. I'm going to go ahead and post this e-mail to the TURNER-L in case someone else is of this line and has some input they can add. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 05, 2005 9:00 PM Subject: TURNER-D Digest V05 #126 No virus found in this incoming message.
