Oops, I almost missed your questions. First, I have an actual book. There is an index but there are so many Tuckers with the same first name it would take me all night to find yours without some idea of when and where they lived. Do you have anything like that on your Tuckers? Although I like having the book, what's sold on eBay is the CD with the actual images of the book. It's so much easier to do a "find" to search for a name than go back and forth between the index and several hundred pages of fine print in the actual book. I'll start looking tonight, but if you could give me approximate dates and locations, it will go a lot faster. Linda
Linda, Will you please check for John Tucker born 3 April 1836 in England, who signed up as a Confederate Soldier in Britton's Neck, SC. I have only been able to locate him in an 1880 Horry County, SC Census. I am trying to work backwards from this census to his days as a Private in the Infantry. Thank you.
