Fran: Mary Jane Tucker was my gggrandmother. She was the d/o(only child) Gallant"Dock" Tucker and Eliza Garrison. Dock's parents were Creed Haskin Tucker and Luvina Jones( Mitch Jones' Prettyman(Capt. Pert)Jone's line). Mary Jane was born in or about Putnam Co., TN in Aug 1865 and we have found out died in CA in 1946. She married at 14 and had 11 children-in 1910 after her husband, Napoleon B."Nep" Medley died she married Daniel L. Smith and went to IN>CA. Gallant has a 121 page Civil War file. I have worked on the Tuckers back to VA, NC, KY and TN. Will be happy to share what I have with you.
