I am on the Digest so get all these at once. Hope you don't mind me answering same way. First Tammy Roberts .I have been to your website many times and tried to contact you. I have Roberts in my Tucker line. Your e-mail addy on your site does not work. Anyway besides our Tucker -Roberts connections which we can e-mail about privately ,I have just learned from a cousin in Nashville she has gone to estate sale and has a Bible of William Roberts dated 1811 with even earlier entries.Quite a lot of info. It is not my Roberts but she told me to let people know she wants to resell it for what she paid . Do you have any Roberts in Weakley Co.TN ? E-mail me privately. Ok now for Vickie Mitchell. I saw some familiar names such as Birdwell,Stout,Howard, But the Goodwine we have already e-mailed each other about some time ago. Your Goodwine is probably who Elizabeth is, the wife of Thomas. The names Goodwin-Goodwynne-Goodwine-and Goodin seem to all be the same family. I am looking for Martha Goodwin/Goodin in either VA or NC .She would have been born at least by 1775 or in that range of time.I do show a Britton Goodwin dec'd by 1811 and had wife Elizabeth. Maybe she remarried to your Thomas ? Britton was in Roane Co Tn by at least 1805. I have found a bunch of Goodwins in Cannon Co Tn and Wilson Co and also Roane Co all TN very early. It is not unusual for them to hop back and forth between Ky and TN back then prior to 1830. E-mail me private on the other names . Pat. PS According to the Cherokee there is no such thing as a Princess. And the word Chief was given by whites to an Indian in authority. It is not a Cherokee phrase.
