Sweets Seeking information on the family of John Thomas Tucker born to William L. Tucker and Mary George in 1876 in the state of Tennessee. John T. married Martha Beatrice Smith, it believed they married in Dallas County, Texas, but no marriage record has been found. Martha was born 04 November 1889 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. After they married their children were all born in Seagoville, Dallas County, Texas. Where John Thomas Tucker is buried in the Lee Cemetery there, next to his brother Oran Franklin Tucker. All of their children are now passed away, not much help is available to me. their children were: John Lois Tucker, called Tuck; William Harold Tucker, called Bally; Odis Glenn Tucker, called Shorty; James F. Tucker, called Coot; and Lucille Tucker, called Sissy or Sis. After the death of John Thomas Tucker in 1936, dying from an accident, while working for the WPA Project. The Tucker Family moved to Salinas, Monterey County, California where many of them are buried. Sis moved to New Mexico and died in Elephant Butte.
