Sweets Seeking additional information on William L. Tucker and Mary George. Located a marriage record for the two 03 August 1858 in Rusk County, Texas. I believe Mary George could possibly William's second wife and that he did have another family probably in Tennessee. He was born c. 1825 in Tennessee. I have no other information on William L. Tucker. This information was taken from his sons death certificate. William L. Tucker was named as his father. Mary George as his mother. My great grandfather was John Thomas Tucker. Will make a posting on him. Known children of William L. and Mary 'George' Tucker are John Thomas Tucker and Oran Franklin Tucker, they possibly had a daughter named Elizabeth. Found on a census record in 1860 in Texas William and Mary Tucker with a daughter named Elizabeth, she was only children and under the or around the age of 2 years. John Thomas born c. 1876 and Oran Franklin Tucker b. c. 1866 were both born in Tennessee.
