A Willam Tucker dies in Greenville SC 1854, leaving 11 children and 2nd wife, Margaret Henderson Tucker. I have William's estate papers. His lst wife was Rebecca Butler . See Brent Holcomb, Editor Publisher, SCMAR, Volume XIII, No. 1, Winter 1985, pp13,14,15. I would like to prove that the son, Andrew (who is living in NC in 1854 when his father's estate is being settled in SC) is the same Andrew P. Tucker of Jefferson County, AL in 1860. Andrew P. Tucker and his wife Sarah/Sally Hart Tucker are on the South Carolina 1850 Federal census. In 1860 they are living in Trussville, Jefferson Co AL, and Andrew P. dies there in 1876. In my opinion, "my" Andrew is the son of this William. In addition, other Tucker researchers tell me that this William Tucker b? died 1854 in Greenville, SC, is the son of a John Tucker, died 1814?
