Hello list, just joined so thought I'd post my Tucker interests. My grandmother was Caroline Susan Tucker, b. 17th May 1884 in Kingsbridge. Her parents were Edward Tucker and Mary Jane Gillham. Edward was a baker and was born in St Sidwell, Exeter on 27th August 1884. At the time of marriage both Edward and Mary Jane lived in Culllompton. His parents were Harry Randll Tucker and Eliza Delve who married in 1842. Harry was a scrivener and attorney's clerk. His father was William Tucker, a shoemaker. At the time of marriage Harry lived in Tiverton. I'd love to make contact with others researching this part of the family. Other names I'm researching in Devon are Steer, Dimond, Delve and Gillham.
