Hi, I am seeking information on the Tuckers who were living near my ancestor,Aaron Tucker, in Rowan Co. NC in the early 1800s. 1802 Rowan Co. Tax listing (Captain Pierce's List) Aaron TUCKER-1 white pole (no land)-----actually, he purchased his land in 1802, but it was apparently after the tax list had been enumerated. In 2 listings away from him is: Andrew TUCKER 125.5 acres-1 white pole (this is, no doubt, the Andrew Tucker who married Levicey Rumbley in September of 1795 in Rowan Co.)(I believe this Andrew to be my Aaron's brother) Same district but further down the page is: James TUCKER-1 white pole.
