Mary of Cumberland TN Would you please tell me why you suspect that Clinton Tucker b. 1789, Lincoln Co NC is one of George's children. I feel sure this Clinton was born in North Carolina. I have found him on the census there following his marriage to Rebecca MUNDAY, m 1819 Tryon Co NC with George TUCKER as bondsman. He had a son Clinton Monroe W. TUCKER b. 1839 Warren Co TN, d.1906 Franklin Co TN. After all these years of looking, I sure would like to nail this one down. A question for anyone on this list that would like to answer: If I went to western NC to research this 1789 Clinton TUCKER would I be able to locate the names of his parents and siblings?
