    3. Hello to all the members of this list. In particular, I address those persons looking at this list, who may be interested in a TUCKER household which was located in Perry Co., Al., during, before and after 1830. The father of the family group was John TUCKER, and his wife was named Mary ??. There are several persons from this household who are mentioned in the administration papers of the estate of John. His widow, Mary, was co-administratrix with Samuel W. Davidson, in the evaluation and distribution of the estate, and the various properties which were valued, and either sold or disposed of to the heirs are listed in detail. Included were several slaves, as well as land and personal property. The papers are in script, which is the way of the times, and totally standard, and the hand-writing is fairly easy to read. Anyone who would like to receive a type-written transcript of these documents should let me know, by direct response, off this list, since (I feel that perhaps) not everyone would have an interest in it. I can provide a list of the heirs, but the relationships are not spelled out, so some may be children, and others may be grand-children. I will be glad to assist anyone with this document, to the limit of my meager abilities. Also, any suggestions as to a proper archive for these documents will be considered. It is most likely available in one or another of the Perry Co. Probate Court records of the time, but it has come to me from a descendant of the family, and I felt it should be made available to any others who have a like interest!! My regards to all those TUCKER descendants who may have an interest in this offer.
