" - CCS1101@aol.com I found "Leroy Tucker" listed with George Tucker in the 1833 Tax List for White Co TN in Capt. Anderson's Co. Leroy has no land listed and is taxed 1 poll. George Tucker has 82 acres. I own a CD of the White Co Tax Lists and I'm going thru it name by name as I have several surnames I'm researching. Very time consuming! So far I'm up to 1834 and these are the only two Tuckers mentioned so far other than Aaron Tucker who was last mentioned in 1825 Capt. Cook's Co. and Capt. Harris's Co. Also of note... 1827 tax list - "George Tucker, Sr." 90 acres no polls. Capt. Riley Jones's Co. I will post new info as I find it. Mary
