My John Tucker relative that we have the farthest hard trace on came from Amelia Co and his family was tightly entertwined with that of Valentine Fentress/Fantress and Sarah Elizabeth Hogg of Albemarle. My John Tucker was born ca 1759, so he's not Elizabeth Davis' father, but he is close enough in age that he could be of the same family. We know we can discount the Bermuda Tuckers, as they entered the country about the same time as our John was born. If Elizabeth had been fathered by one of that family it might have been well known.
