I am looking for Samuel Hunter Tucker born Feb of 1875 in Arkansas or Tennessee (conflict census reports) he died sometime before 1920 in Oklahoma. He married Florida McAlister they had 8 children Alice Elizabeth - 1894/1970 Anna Lillie - 1897/1987 Jessie- 1899/1988 Edmond- 1903/1983 Lucy - 190?/1978 Cora - 1904/1999 Bessie- 1907/? April, Have you tried for a death certificate in OK? These can yield a lot of information. I found the name of a great-great grandmother on the death certificate of my great-grandfather. I don't know what year OK started requiring death certificates, but it was probably before 1920 and it is worth a shot, if you haven't already tried this avenue. It should also give you his state of birth. Keep in mind, however, that the information is only as good as the person;s knowledge that was submitting it.
