Mary, There was also a William C. Tucker in Dickson County, TN. He had some land dealings with a Lewis Tucker, whom I believe was his brother. And, this Lewis apparently had an estate in TN that was divided amongst some relatives in IL. It seems he didn't have children. Do you suppose that the William C. in this case could be the same as the one from White County? There was a Carroll Tucker who married Jane Frazier. Maybe William C. and Carroll are the same person? I know that we have a William Carroll in our line of Tuckers and I do know that the Tuckers sure did like to repeat names!!!!
