The will of Frances Coomes stated that he wanted his wife Nancy and Annafnan (I think it must be Annafran) Tucker to be the sole executers for his estate. This was in 1817. Nancy was pragnent with the "unborn childed" mentioned in the will along with the names of his other children. I am searching for the name of that child. My ggrantgrandfather was born in 1817. We have no record of his parents names. It seems that these people could be his parents, Frances and Nancy Coomes. Nancy being pregnent, her husband dying, and Nancy having to take care of the will, with several children she must have leaned on Annafran Tucker. My ggreatgrandfather's name was James Tucker Coomes. I thought he might have been named for Annafran. A lot of supposition. I also would like to know what he died of. Our family legend says that James father died at sea. We don't really know. I would appreciage hearing from anyone knowing of a Annafran Tucker. It is possible that she is a Native American. Patience
