One thing you might want to do is go back to where you found those dates, look up the source if it is a book or transcript, and send for a copy of the original if it still exists. You'd be surprised as how much information is accidently lost or misinterpreted by perfectly well-intentioned and creditable people. If the dates you are presently using just don't work out, try re-reading the original to see if it could have been misread or even mistyped.
