My father, Carson Tucker of Boone County, MO played the mouth harp, jews harp, danced, sang with me on summer nights when I was a child. We sang harmony, the whole family sang. He built most of my toys for Christmas during the depression out of cigar boxes: an old fashioned trunk, a kitchen cabinet. He carved miniature animals from peach seeds as a hobby. Very talented. Our yard was a flower garden, too.
