I am the descendent of "Clary" Tucker born 1782 and lived in Hardin Co, Ky. The family story was that her mother was killed by Indians. She was hidden under a fence and was spared. (I am not sure if it was her or a sibling) She was then raised by family poss grandparents. She moved to Callaway Co, MO. She was married to Jacob Baker February 22, 1805. Where I do not know. She died in 1844 in Callaway Co. Recently I have seen almost the same information in a posting that stated Clarinda Tucker was the daughter of Rev John Tucker who was killed by Indians in Adair Co, KY.
