TUCKERS IN THE CIVIL WAR. THERE WAS 1,597 UNION ARMY THERE WAS 2,301 CONFEDERATION ARMY
> TUCKERS IN THE CIVIL WAR. > > THERE WAS 1,597 UNION ARMY > THERE WAS 2,301 CONFEDERATION ARMY Interesting! There are family rumors that my Tennessee Tucker ancestor was a spy in the Civil War. No idea which side! Nothing concrete and he wasn't a veteran that I know of...just a rumor in one part of the family. Everything abt my Elijah Grundy Tucker b. in 1832 is a mystery really! He was born either in TN or NC - AND was missed in the 1850 census to make things worse. I have several theories on his ancestry but no concrete proof. Does anyone know how I could find out if he really WAS a spy? Who would I contact? Thanks, Mary, in Cumberland Co., TN -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
