Hi Joan, I don't know if he was in NC or not, but anything is possible I guess, I barley found him in VA. and I have no proof of that, I'm going by what I have been told. I still think he was born in England and him or the whole family moved to NC or VA but can't find anything to prove it. I've been slacking off on this line long enough and have been working on my Drury line. I am trying to prove for Colonial Dames 17th century, I can go thru Drury which I have for the DAR and my brother's SAR but thought I would see if I could thru the Tucker or Dalbey line on my mothers side. Tucker, but the similarities of region and associated given names is very interesting indeed. Further, there was an Edward Tucker who appeared in Rowan Co. NC on the same census records as our Aaron. I don't remember if it was the 1800, or the 1810 census. I will have to check. Was your Edward ever in NC prior to/after VA? A lot of VA Tuckers were in NC.
