I am uncertain how much help this might be to you? However I have a William Tucker , born 16 Feb 1813....place unknown. His mothers name, may have been Ann Cave. Married Nancy Dealy, 26 March 1839 (place unknown). Nancy Dealy was born 22 Sept 1822 (also place unknown). This is the end of my line backwards, no one seems to have any information on this William. On the other hand they had 12 children: Rebecca Ann, James Patterson (my line), David Malarly, Sarah Elizabeth, William D. Woods, John Tomas, Pleasant branch, David Allen, Martha Francis, Hannah Evaline, Charles Jeff Davis, and Martin Robert E. Lee, of course all tuckers. I have birth dates for most of these children and a few death dates and places in Oregon. Also some connection into the Savage and Powell last names.... For what it is worth? Mary (et al), We have discussed many times the George W. Tucker who was in White County, Tennessee. He was there at the same time that my Aaron Tucker was there. I have always felt that he must somehow be very closely connected to Aaron. Recently, I have been corresponding with a descendant of the Lemuel Tucker family. This Lemuel "Lemmie" Tucker was in Dent Co. MO in the 1870 census. He was born in TN. In 1860, he is in Ozark Co. MO. He is said to have ha had a brother named Leroy. Remember that on the tax lists of White Co. TN, there was a Leroy Tucker. Nobody knows for sure (at least that I am aware of), but this Leroy has been assigned to the family of George W. Tucker. The Lemuel in question was born in 1814, according to descendants (and 1820--per census). So, he could fit into some of the missing gaps of the G.W. Tucker family. Of further interest is the fact that there was a Lemuel Tucker in Lincoln Co. TN very early on. I know that he has been assigned to the family of Capt. Robt. Tucker (check out Gary Wilson Tucker's website). Also, of interest is the fact that John B. Tucker, who married Frances "Fanny" Smith in Lincoln Co. TN migrated on into Texas Co. MO. He was there by 1860 (even served in the CW from Texas Co. MO). His brother, David Tucker who married Sarah SOWELLS in Coffee Co. TN, was also in Ozark Co. MO in the 1850 census. So, while this isn't anything conclusive, it points to John B. and David perhaps being related to Lemuel (who was in Dent Co. MO in 1870). Some of David's children were born in White Co. TN. Another interesting fact is that my great-aunt, Malinda (Tucker) Lane also settled in Texas Co. MO VERY close to these other Tuckers. She and her husband, Thomas Porter Lane, are buried in the Hamilton Cemetery near Cabool in Texas Co. MO. To make this even more interesting, John B. Tucker's daughter, Elizabeth married Matthew HAMILTON. So, it would seem that the Lincoln Co. TN Tuckers (who migrated mostly from NC) were also PROBABLY very closely related to the White/Warren Co. TN Tuckers. I would very much appreciate any information that anyone might have on the above mentioned Lemuel Tucker and the Leroy Tucker that is mentioned. Hi Lynn... I have been researching the Tucker family in Kentucky and have hit so many dead ends. I have been concentrating in Northern Kentucky (Boone, Campbell and Scott counties). Hardin and Breckenridge counties are alittle southwest of theis cluster of counties I am researching. In the 1850 census for Scott County, there is a Mary Tucker. TUCKER 424A-433B-435B-446B-476A-476B-484A. I haven't had a chance to check it out. I have recorded what I have done (and ideas to pursue) on my Tucker Family webpage. http://216.101.212.77/malaun/TuckerFamiliesmainpage.htm Be sure to check out the Thomas C. Hi Patrick, Mary Ann Tucker married Richard Meador, b. 1 Aug 1808 in VA. He m. Mary Ann Tucker 17 Jun 1834 in Hardin Co, KY. I believe that he lived in Breckenridge Co. KY, a neighboring county. The Meadors moved to Texas in 1839. They were citizens of the Republic of Texas. He died of pneumonia at the age of 45 in Milam, Sabine Co., TX. Mary Ann Tucker was born 10 Jun 1815 in KY, dau of Jacob Tucker and Mary Richie. She died 2 Jun 1864 at the age of 49. Both Richard and Mary Ann are buried in the Meador Family Cemetery in Milam, TX. They were my great grandparents. Their children were: William, Charles, who died young, Frances, Juliana, Katherine, Susan Ann, Benjamin Franklin, Sarah Ann and Mary Benena. Do you have information about how Mary Ann ties into the Tuckers? I would be very interested to hear from you, concerning the Tuckers. Hello, I am interested in any information on Lemuel Tucker born January 1814 (census record 1870-Dent Co. MO has a circa birthdate of 1820). According to these census, he was born in TN. A couple of researchers from his line say that he had a brother named Leroy. He lived in Dent Co. MO VERY close to my own Tucker family and, while I am sure that he must be related, I don't know HOW. I know that my Aaron Tucker was in White Co. TN at the same time as George W. Tucker. I also know that there was a Leroy Tucker listed on the tax list in White Co. TN. Was he related to George W.? If so, HOW? It has been said that the George W. Tucker who migrated from "middle TN" (according to Goodspeed) to Madison Co. AR and was the first white man to drive a wagon into this region of AR (ref. Goodspeed) is the same George W. Tucker who was previously in White Co. I have seen a different name for the George of Madison Co. The one in White Co. TN's wife was named Elizabeth (surname PROBABLY POTTS??). His wife, Elizabeth, is listed living with her daughter on the 1850 White Co. census (listed as age 68). So, she would still have been living when he went to AR. It would seem that the Robert Tucker whom Goodspeed mentions as leaving Cape Girardeau Co. MO and migrating to Madison Co. AR with a LARGE family of GROWN sons, MAY have been the Robert Tucker who married Mary Wells and who had 6 children marry into the Glen/Glenn family????? Does anyone have any information on this? Lots of questions and very few answers. HELP!!!!!! Joan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - now with 250MB free storage. Learn more. http://info.mail.yahoo.com/mail_250

Hello I am new to the list and this is my first posting. Can anyone help me with information regarding my great aunt. Here are the only details I have: Helen Cassidy born c. 1857 possibly at Newport, Monmouth. Father - Alfred Cassidy Mother - Sarah Cassidy Siblings: Charles and Francis Edwin Helen married Edwin Tucker of Totterdown, Somerset and if the details are correct on the 1881 Census she was living at 19 William Street, Bedminster, Somerset along with two children Silvian M Tucker b. 1874 and Eveline E Tucker b.c. 1879. The only definite information I have is that by 1891 she was widowed and living with her parents at 4 Osbourne Road, West Derby, Liverpool. Helen was 35 years old and had two other children Edgar G Tucker, aged 9, bc.1882 and Edith A Tucker, aged 6, bc.1885 living at this address but no mention of the other two. In researching Helen I came across details of a marriage - Helen Frances Tucker in September 1907 at West Derby, Lancashire and wondered if this was a second marriage, if indeed this is the same Helen. Any information would be gratefully received. Regards Lorraine Furlong

Hello Holt...... I am uncertain how much help this might be to you, however I have a William (perhaps Buck) Tucker born 16 Feb, 1813. Where...unknown. His mother's Name was Anne Care. William was married 26 March 1839, where ...unknown assumed to be in the east someplace. He married a Nancy Dealy born 22 Sept 1822. She was suppose to be a twin. David Dealy her father was suppose to be from Ireland, Rebecca Mills was Nancy's mother, and suppose to be from Wales. Looking at the dates, I fear they are too far apart, to be the same person. I am attempting to find more information concerning William Tucker as he is my paternal line. Best wishes..... Looking for information on John W Tucker b. ca 1854 married Minerva Honeycutt on 29 Dec 1878, Stanly Co., NC. Looking for birth and death dates and parents of both. Thanks, Vernon Brewer
Hi, I am seeking information on the Tuckers who were living near my ancestor,Aaron Tucker, in Rowan Co. NC in the early 1800s. 1802 Rowan Co. Tax listing (Captain Pierce's List) Aaron TUCKER-1 white pole (no land)-----actually, he purchased his land in 1802, but it was apparently after the tax list had been enumerated. In 2 listings away from him is: Andrew TUCKER 125.5 acres-1 white pole (this is, no doubt, the Andrew Tucker who married Levicey Rumbley in September of 1795 in Rowan Co.)(I believe this Andrew to be my Aaron's brother) Same district but further down the page is: James TUCKER-1 white pole. On the 1803 tax list (still Captain Pierce's District) Aaron TUCKER-125 acres-1 white pole Andrew TUCKER-125 acres-1 white pole Henry TUCKER-1 white pole James TUCKER-50 acres-1 white pole James Tucker-1 white pole 1804 tax list (still Captain Pierce's District) James TUCKER-1 white pole Aaron TUCKER-50 acres-1 white pole (this needs to be checked on again as there is no apparent reason why the amount of his land should have decreased ie. no evidence of land sale or transfer). James TUCKER-50 acres-1 white pole Andrew TUCKER-125 1/4 acres-1 white pole Henry TUCKER- 1 white pole Does anyone connect to the Andrew, Henry or the two James Tuckers? I have information on Andrew's family, but I am VERY interested in information on the two James Tuckers and the Henry Tucker. This tax list region was in the section of Rowan County that later became Davie County, NC. Thanks in advance, Joan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
