Hello, I don't have the book but know of it and thought I would give you this information. There are a couple of sources. First the book The Making and Unmaking of a Revolutionary Family: The Tuckers of Virginia, 17521830 by Phillip Hamilton. The reviews were good. The other is Tucker Trails Through Southside Virginia, 1986, 321 pp, soft cover, deals primarily with the history of Capt. Robert Tucker Sr (c1677-1750), his seven sons, and their descendants, to about 1850, as they migrated through the southside Virginia counties of Charles City, Prince George, Amelia, Nottoway, Prince Edward, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Halifax and Pittsylvania. Available for $30.00 postpaid from the compiler, B. DeRoy Beale, 8529 Spalding Dr., Richmond, VA 23229. E-mail: bdbea@erols.com . If you order this book, make sure you order through him because the cost is over $90 in bookstores. I have not had the time to read either book yet but from what I understand after talking to Mr. Beale, his would be the most informative. Thanks, John R. I am trying to locate some information about any of the men mentioned above. My gggg grandfather was Reuben Tucker who was born about 1760 in Virginia he married Lucy Daniels about 1783 in Prince George County, They had: Jane, John, RICHARD, Reuben Jr, Rlizabeth, Martha Ann, Abraham, Nancy, Drury, and mary or Polly. This information is from his Rev pension files. I am descendant of Richard Tucker who was born about 1791 and who married Nancy Bateman in Greenbrier County in April 1808. They had about 12 children. I can find the boys because they got married and the father is mentioned but there were 7 girls that I cannot find out about. Does anyone out there connect to either of these men? I also am looking for the father of Reuben Tucker born 1760. I was told a very long time ago that there was a possibility that his father was either Issac or Miles Tucker. So any information about these would help also. Been looking for this for a very long time sure could use some help. Thanks Pat

I am looking for information about Thomas Tucker who was born probably about 1755 or maybe a little later (his brother was born 1760). I know that he had a son named Drury Tucker who was born about 1798 in Virginia but have no other information except that these Tuckers usually stayed near Prince George County Virginia or Dinwiddie. Thanks hope someone has him in their files. Pat
