    3. Sandra, Actually, I THINK the Lieu/Leu/Lew etc (various spellings) is Lewallen/Lieuallen etc. Tucker. But, this is just a guess :) Also, the George Tucker, whose estate is recorded in 1801 in Randolph Co. NC, had a daughter named Margaret. I THINK his wife was also Margaret(would have to check---I have a copy of his and the other George's wills) and he had a daughter named Alsey (Elsie?) and a son named Thomas. He is often referred to as George Jr. I think George Sr.'s family is defined not only by his will which, to the best of my recollection, only lists Lieu (again would have to check)and is witnessed by a Mary "Polly" Tucker, whom many believe to be his daughter, but also by his land dispersals. 1. Re: [TUCKER-L] Tucker Family of Virginia, Kentucky, Iowa, California
    2. Looking for information on Martin Tucker, born 1808-1809 in Kentucky. His fathers name was either Lambert or Lampton, supposed to have been born in Virginia. Martin married Melinda Owens of Tennessee around 1829 and had five children, Letitia, Egbert, John, William and Alice. Letitia and Egbert were born in Kentucky, the younger three were born in Iowa. The family left Mount Pleasant, Iowa in 1852 for the California gold rush and settled in Amador County, in a town called Sutter Creek. Would like any info on whether or not Martin Tucker had siblings and what became of them. Also, would like to know the name of Martins mother. Letitia Tucker married Allen Tibbits, Egbert married Martha Fanning, John might have married a woman simply known as Elen, William might have married Catharine, and Alice married a man by the last name of Singer. Would like to hear from the decendents of any of these people. Thanks Brigitte Tucker-Ford
