Raven, VA- David Dewey Street, age 30 of Kirby Road, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. Born in Tazewell County, he was a son of the late Denver and Georgia Deel Street. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sarah and Chris Deel and paternal grandfather Dewey Street. Survivors include two step-sisters, Tammy Dye and Adrianne Street, two step-brothers, Bryon and Michael Street, aunts, Carolyn Mullins, Arbutus Brown, Audrey Haynes, Versie Wells and Deirdre Spafford, uncles, Darrell Deel and Jessee Deel, 3 step-nieces and a step-great-niece. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, April 8, 2011 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Eddie Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Blankenship Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to funeral service at 12:00.
