Here are some obituaries I've typed up from scrapbook pages donated to my local gen. society that they did not want to keep (we're in Washington state--Library Director did not think we needed them since we're short on bookshelf space). I asked for them a couple of years ago, and got them. >From the Intelligencer Wheeling, West Virginia April 28, 1970 Funerals Tomorrow: • Edwin C. Baumann – at 11 a.m. at Beiswenger Funeral Home, 3828 Jacob St. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens. • Estella Mae Washington – At 10 a.m. at Brown-Williams Funeral Home, 148 Sixteenth St. Burial in Stone Church Cemetery. Obituaries: Washington, Mrs. Estella Mae, 51, of 1019 Morrow St., died Friday at 12:50 p.m. at the Ohio Valley General Hospital. Friends may call at the Brown-Williams Funeral Home, 148 Sixteenth St., Wheeling, where services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow with Rev. Lee Wright officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. • Sammons – On Monday, April 27, 1970. Dr. William Phillips Sammons, in his 83rd year. Friends may call at Kepner Funeral Home 1308 Chapline St. Wednesday 2-4 7-9 p.m. Services there 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. James E. Lutz officiating.
