Did you read the article? When this is really going it is supposed that it will link all library collections. If you need a document for your research you go to this database and it tells you where every copy of that document is stored anywhere in the USofA. No more going to a library looking for a document only to find out it isn't available there. You can find only those libraries that have whatever your looking for. If there is no document [ landfill, courthouse burned and all records lost, etc. ] you will know that no one has it and to stop looking. You won't actually be able to read the documents from this site, only find out where it is [ if it is ].
