Abt 2 this morning, I heard two large explosions the last one so hard the windows shook. I could see red flashing lights on I-10 and what looked like fire but can't find anything to say there was something. Guess it could have been a sonic boom, but two of them? We thought we had a fire over the ridge north of us but the smoke seems to have died down. That would have been on the reservation. Now we are getting hit with one of those famous dust storms.... that roll into Phoenix in a huge wall of dirt... we are in the storm right now.. AND it is thundering.....maybe we will get a drop or two of rain... something that is unusal for AZ. g On Wed, Jun 27, 2012 at 6:14 PM, W David Samuelsen <dsam52@sampubco.com>wrote: > Fires, fires, fires > > 3 new ones in Utah, all exploding and already over 1,000 > > Evacuations ordered for 3 towns and cities > > New Harmony fire > Entire New Harmony, northeast of St. George, evac to Kanarraville and > about to be evac elsewhere because fire jumped I-15, forcing a different > evac route to Highway 91 in Kanarraville.
