Born in Richlands, VA on January 12, 1960, David was the son of Tracie Lonzo and Rosalie Fleming Ward of Sarasota, FL. He graduated in 1978 from Rising Sun High School and studied electrical training for three years in Richlands, VA . He had a Master Electricians License in Cecil County. A Christian in the Methodist tradition, David enjoyed boating and fishing and will be dearly missed by family and many friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by Doug Ward, his brother and Lisa Jo Ward of Newark, DE; four nephews, Sgt. Jeremy Wayne Ward, USMC, Matthew James Ward, Austin Tracy Ward and Tyler Gordon Ward, all of Newark, DE and a great nephew Travis Ward as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his best friend and fishing buddy John Lindencamp of Elkton. A visitation and a celebration of David's life will be held from 12 noon - 2 pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Saturday August 13, 2011. Burial will be private at a later date.
