    3. my grandfather is stated as being born in N.C. ( 1974- Jan.1 ) but have not really found mention of a William in any on the family lines from that area- What I seek is the time of his birth to the dates he is first found in Florida ( before 1897 ) I did find this line used to migrate back and forth from Indiana to the Carolinas ( mentioned in Park Co.,Indiana ) cemetery with big stone HETHCO My aunt Irene once told me that her dad-my grandpa, told her he was working or living with an uncle-no mention of where- but for some reason he and this uncle had a fight and the uncle took a swing at him with a hoe- at this point in time he stated he went from being a dependent to being independent- he left out on his own- no age or dates even mentioned- Questions I had or thoughts were - his parents either passed away or farmed him out-maybe to many to feed so once they reached a certain age out they went. I guess- But from where to where- >His name was ; William Lee Heathcoe- this is how he came to spell the name- >not sure if this is the original spelling- He was born in 1874 -never any >mention of parents names- ( also- on the 1917 civilian draft he states his >middle name as Landwick-not Lee only place this Landwick name ever shows >up ) > First time I find any mention of him is in 1897 when he married Edmonia > Hogarth in Clay Co.,Fl - last name is spelled on this marriage record as > Heathco- ( no -E- at the end of his name- only time he left this letter > off his last name ) > I have most of the info on him -starting date of 1897 -Clay County on > through his death in 1946 in Hillsborough Co.,Fl. > he had 3 living sons from his first wife Edmonia >one daughter by # 2 wife Sarah Hayman/ Allen > 2 children by his # 3 wife ( my grandmother ) the 2 were my Dad -William > Lodwick Heathcoe and his sister Irene Elizabeth Heathcoe > marriage # 4 no children > marriage # 5 no children all marriages took place in Florida -----Original Message----- From: Gail Kilgore Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2012 10:30 PM To: tttp@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TTTP] In-Depth Genealogist Where did he live and when was he born and where? g On Sat, Apr 21, 2012 at 5:32 PM, PMcSwain <pmcswain@tampabay.rr.com> wrote: > It is a nice site- But no one has the name of HEATHCOE much past their > grandfathers- No One. even me- I can not get past my own grandpa- DUH > Peggy > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jen Baldwin > Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2012 8:37 AM > To: tttp@rootsweb.com > Subject: [TTTP] In-Depth Genealogist > > Good Morning, > > This new digi-mag has been wonderful so far, full of information.
