There is a Compatibility Troubleshooter system built into Windows 7 Start menu, type compatibility. You might be able to learn something about it in help. Or, find a Windows 7 forum and ask them. There is also a Virtual PC you can download and add an XP mode, if that is what you had. I only read about it when my daughter got a new laptop. I haven't done it myself but it is certainly something to look into. Once you get a program you like it is so hard to replace it with something different. I hope you can find a way. -- Sheri FamilyTwigs <http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~familytwigs/> TwigTalk <http://familytwigs.blogspot.com/> Indiana Trails To The Past <http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Eintttp/> SA Jackson County <http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Einjacktp/>Trails To The Past
out of question, I checked - Microsoft wants $199.00 for that! David S. I don't know what version of the program you are trying to put on Win7, or what you were using before but using the Compatibility Troubleshooter in Win7 we were able to run old games and programs from XP days. I doubt anything from an earlier version of Windows will run on any computer now. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. -- Sheri FamilyTwigs <http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~familytwigs/> TwigTalk <http://familytwigs.blogspot.com/> Indiana Trails To The Past <http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Eintttp/> SA Jackson County <http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Einjacktp/>Trails To The Past
