In the process of transcribing Company K of the 38th Wisconsin Infantry and came across a man by the name of Albro (first name) [Albro R Parker]. And chance it may be someone you may or should be looking for??? http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~witttp/military/cwvets/cok38wis.htm Jeanne/jmh
hi Jeanne, Hope your having a great day. Thanks for the info. That's one of the strange things we've discovered in researching the Albros. There are many people with the first name Albro. Albro, Parker, Albro, Fessington to name a couple. We are still wondering why? That's like naming someone "Jones, Jones" (Grin). My mother's 2nd husband was named Mower (last Name), and in looking for him we came across a "Lawn Mower". Go figure....... Have a nice day, Jim Jim in Florida www.albrogenealogy.com On 4/18/2012 10:34 AM, Jeanne Hicks wrote: > In the process of transcribing Company K of the 38th Wisconsin Infantry and came across a man by the name of Albro (first name) [Albro R Parker]. Kind of like my Cameron's, surname of my Grandparents. Many of the descendants with different surnames named their children with the first name or middle name of Cameron. I even named one of my yorkies Cameron, to which my cousin Molly said: "My brother will really be impressed to hear you named your dog after him."
