Here is the transcription of the obit (an attachment now removed): Joseph Newcomer Joseph Newcomer received a letter from Rev Michael Sisler of Dallas Centre, Iowa, announcing the death and burial of his wife, who died on Friday, December 8, 1893 and was buried Sunday in Dallas Centre cemetery. She was born in Sharpsburg, Washington County, Maryland September 15, 1893. Age, sixty years two months and twenty-three days. Miss Barbara Ann Newcomer was married to Michael Sisler, Washington County, Maryland, May 9, 1847 -- forty-six years ago. The next year they came to this township and resided here for about two years. She was a member of the Dunkard church, her husband being a minister of the Dunkard church. She leaves two brothers and one sister.
