Hi everyone, I spoke with Brenda today. She sounded 1000% better than last week. She'll live permanently in a nursing home, not ever to return to her apartment. Her kids have begun to clean it out. Brenda's mood has been lighter than it's been for a long time. The worry of being terminal and alone has now been lifted even though the doctor still gives her a prognosis of no years or months, but day to day. :-( The ascites, last reported as triplet-sized in her stomach, was removed last week -- a total of 28 pounds! Imagine your stomach with an additional 28 pounds over it. Anyway, the doctors' removing it has eased Brenda's breathing significantly and her ability to sit up. Her heart was damaged during the attack last week, but today Brenda is in therapy. And another great piece of news -- Brenda's appetite has returned. yeaaaayyyyyyy! :-) She still isn't back online. As a matter of fact, at this point, she still doesn't have her computer. I'll be calling her tomorrow and will find out what she plans to do regarding her domains and Trails. So, to all of you who prayed for Brenda, those prayers worked! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Please keep her in your thoughts as she continues this struggle. We both thank you profusely for all them all.
