Welcome Welcome Welcome!!!! We are so pleased to have you joining our family. And, yes, we really are a family. We have many a good time (although, it's usually just via email). Although, I have gotten to meet several of you!!! So, who's next.... I am the SA of Wisconsin, Mississippi, Idaho, and Washington. I am hosting (hoping for a new volunteer -- anyone, anyone? Do I see a hand in the back???) South Dakota, South Carolina, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Delaware. I am the DA of the North Central District, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. And there are lots of opportunities in these states!!! (I didn't list New Jersey, because Jan is going to do that one and Virginia because Fran HT was going to take that one.) Although I grew up in Wisconsin and still consider it home, I live in North Carolina, less than fifty miles from South Carolina and halfway between Charlotte and Asheville. I am a mom, first and foremost, to five children. I am a Cub Scout leader. I am a Girl Scout leader. I have met JoAnn and Jeannie (one of the other ones). I would love to meet each and everyone in person. My oldest son is getting his military physical tomorrow and will be going into the Army in April as a geospatial engineer. My baby girl is five and started kindergarten this fall. My other two sons play football, while my oldest daughter is in marching band, so this time of year gets rather hectic for us! If everything goes as planned, we will be at Fort Jackson for Aaron's graduation from Basic in June, at Fort Belvoir for Aaron's graduation from AIT in October. Then he'll have three weeks at Fort Benning for Air Borne. Homecoming at the high school is Friday night, so Chelsea will be there, and has a marching band competition on Saturday. Timothy and Jonas played their "homecoming" games last Saturday, but they play games every Saturday until well into November. Fortunately, we are able to limit other activities.... Now that I am home by myself mostly during the day, I have time to spend working on pages and going and gathering data. It is a strange feeling to be by myself all day long....I had forgotten what it was like to actually be able to go to the bathroom by myself!!! Well, back to Idaho, been working on adding some good data to the site. Hopefully, I'll be getting another county online -- try to do them one at a time and add plenty to them as I go. I also need to get back to sending out all the submissions. Gerry, I think I have some stuff for California in these notebooks I got from my cousin!
